Roxane Battle

2021

It is especially fitting that Roxane Battle is honored and celebrated at our 20th anniversary conference. A long-time supporter of BCEA, Roxane has been with us since the beginning. In fact, she emceed the very first BCEA education conference. She has been with us many times since and we are honored each time she is willing to share the day with us. As a speaker, Roxane uses her gift of storytelling to help people find ways to better manage stress, build resiliency and find joy during times of transition. Her talent is evident and brings our conference to a higher level. We are so very grateful that she chooses to share her time and talent with BCEA.

Roxane serves as Vice President of Advocacy and Community at Sanvello Health, a UnitedHealth Group digital mental health care company. Prior to joining Sanvello, she spent 20+ years as an Emmy-nominated television news reporter and anchor at KARE11-NBC Minneapolis, CBS and FOX. She is an Amazon best-selling author, and her self-help memoir, Pockets of Joy, Deciding to Be Happy, Choosing to Be Free, is now in its third printing. Roxane is a native of Minnesota and a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She earned her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
