Beginning in 2011, the same year she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Judy Shoulak and her family began hosting an annual outdoor music festival at their home in rural Corcoran to raise money for breast cancer awareness, research and education, treatment, and a cure. Hosted in mid-September, the annual festival consists of live music, outdoor activities for the whole family, and silent and live auctions. Proceeds from these events have been distributed among several local breast cancer charities over the years. The 2015 event, the Silver Edition was held September 19 and raised $58,9000 and was be given to six local breast cancer charities: the Breast Cancer Education Association, Park Nicollet Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Piper Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, The Firefly Sisterhood, and The Hope Chest.
