Carolyn Best
Carolyn Best grew up as one of eight children in Wilson, NC. Her mother was a nurse, and Carolyn learned early on the comfort and knowledge nurses provide. Inspired by her mother, she became a nurse herself and now owns a home health agency. As a cancer survivor, Carolyn saw firsthand the critical need for education and support. Volunteering with BCEA allows her to share compassion and kindness with others on their journey. She is actively involved with Sisters Standing Up to Breast Cancer and serves as a Community Champion and member of the BCEA Education Committee. Carolyn looks forward to being a lifelong ambassador to her community and to women everywhere.
