Annette J. Lamers

Annette’s journey ended in 2005, but her passion and dedication to BCEA continue to inspire. A founding member, Annette served tirelessly—even through her 6½-year battle with metastatic breast cancer—always with an upbeat attitude and a smile.

In 2013, BCEA created the Annette J. Lamers “Making a Difference” Award to honor volunteers who share her spirit of selflessness and commitment. A loving wife to Phil and mother to Christopher and Steven, Annette’s legacy of courage and kindness lives on in the work she helped begin.
